Spotlight: The Foxley Tweed

*Gifted items featured.

There are some pieces of country wear clothing that are just essential to be hanging in your wardrobe. There is the wax jacket, a ridiculous amount of wellies and boots, and then, there is of course, the Tweed.

Timeless and traditional, I think every woman owes it to herself to own some form of tweed. Whether you wear it to go shooting or to stroll in the idyllic countryside, nothing reflects those strong British country influences more. Today, I want to shine a spotlight on my dear friends, Joules, who yet again, have knocked it out of the park this Autumn/Winter wear, with the beautiful Foxley Tweed Suit.

I myself have a few pieces of tweed, but I had yet to own a three-piece wool blend suit. If you want to feel like a boss queen, then I cannot recommend a suit enough. The Foxley Tweed is iconic and will stand the test of time in reusability each year. Though this isn’t tailored directly to the individual, it is as close as you will get to a tailored, structured piece off-the-rack. It has a feminine fit and cinches you in the right places to still give you that empowered yet softer look.

Bag is Osprey London. Wellington boots is Holland Cooper.

Paired my blazer with a pair of Joules white jeans and scarf.

Wear as an ensemble or separately for a more casual look, the Foxley Check is versatile because its gorgeous colour pairs perfectly with your autumn and winter clothes. If you go to my instagram, you will have seen the tweed featured several times now, because I adore it! Joules have really shone again this year with designing quintessential English country clothing with an affordable price tag. Why not invest in yourself and buy something that will always remain a style staple year after year.

How do you wear your tweed? I would love to know!

The Joules Foxley Check Tweed pieces come in a blazer, waistcoat, trousers and culottes. I’ve linked them below and you can thank me later.
