Christmas Wreath Making
Pr invite article
A chilly walk on Kings Road, Chelsea leads me to a classic Victorian shop front. Vantage Atelier has arrived in London, with a pop up for the next two weeks! Just in time for much needed Christmas shopping.
The evening kicked off with bubbles and sweet treats, whilst we gals got reacquainted or met for the first time. An intimate gathering of countryside enthusiasts, which was perfect for the activity. Our host, Georgia, founder of Vantage Atelier, kicked things off with a welcome chat and we were ready to begin.
Elena from Lilac & Bloom was our wonderful instructor for the wreath making, offered step-by-step instructions and helpful tips when designing your door decoration. Before attaching your pieces to the wreath, I found it helpful to lay it out and position them first, for the desired result.
Start with the baubles, then add the dried fruit and pine cones, and then comes foliage, to give some extra texture and a pop of colour. I love adding eucalyptus and asparagus ferns to fir greenery. I feel like it brings a hint of outdoorsy woodland magic into your home.
I always feel like the domestic goddess gene kind of skipped me when it comes to arts and crafts. But the evening reignited my inner desire to improve on this. Whilst, we took our time decorating, we also had the chance to roam around the pop up shop.
For the evening, I wore their Ivory Turtleneck and Brown Herringbone Skirt, and the quality and fit is exceptional. The turtleneck isn’t flimsy, it will keep you nice and snug in these winter months. The skirt is fitted perfectly around my hips and the pattern makes it versatile for styling various outfits. It always feels good to support British brands.
Such a wonderful evening and the perfect way to get into the festive spirit. I brought home my beautiful wreath, thankfully in one piece and cannot wait to hang it proudly on my front door. If you can, I would highly recommend doing a workshop and let your inner florist flourish.
Be sure to pop down to 340 King’s Road during the next two weeks, and explore the beautiful range of Vantage Atelier.
